i have a 1994 grand am quad 4...after it sat for a few months..i started it..it ran about 2 minutes and shut down. Now, i only have power to the dome light, head light and tail lights...cant open the door to get to the fuse box..does anybody have any idea where i can start lookin for the problem? the battery is fine.

check for fuel, check for spark then get back to us....

low on gas is not the problem.....it started and ran for about 3 minutes..and now i have no power..it wont even crank..gasoline cant effect the electrical..all the power i have is dome,headlights,and taillights...no blowers..no heater..no defroster...no door lock..no turn signals,,no door chimes,,no four ways...:banghead: ..does all electrical power run through the starter??

No the power comes from the battery and only engages the starter when needed..

You need to get the hood open and clean the terminals on the battery at least. Get the battery charging correctly.

If the battery was low just running it in place doesnt necessarily charge the battery.
You proubbly ran the battery down just running it, especially if the terminals are a problem.

Get the hood open and charge the battery and start at that point to diagnose the issues.

If your battery voltage is ok, 12.6V is the best anything less than 12.5 requires charging, but your car will still start. I assume you checked all the fuses and they are ok and there is power at fuses if not then you have problem with fusible link
