Air Filter

I have a 2002 Dodge Stratus and I can't figure out how to change the air filter cause i can't get the air filter box open. If anyone knows how to accomplish this task please let me know. Thank you.

I have a 2001 Stratus. I know what you mean, I can't figure out how to change the air filter either. Can onyone help?

a 2dr? Just pop the 4 clips.

I can't figure mine out either. It's a 2001 Dodge Stratus ES, 4D. Can anyone assist? I'd like to change this myself.

I contacted Dodge about how to change the air filter because the owner's manual doesn't say much and they said you have to buy a $90 service manual from them, or have a technician do it.
I'd like to learn how to do this myself. I continue to search for help on how to do this. Just thought I'd share.

Yeah. me too. 2001 6 cyl.
It has clips on it but it doesn't open up nearly enough to even see the air filter.
There seems to be more problems than solutions about a stinkin' air filter.
