I am selling this because I want to just get away from the drop top and get a GSX or a TSI AWD. Car runs fine. I will not be profiting on this deal, I am selling it for what I owe.
Details-
Chassis has 180k
Engine is a 1991 6-bolt with Aprox. 55k, Installed locally by me and a couple of friends, this was installed in August 2005. All Timing belts, pulleys, and tensioners were replaced, along with a new water pump, and several new gaskets. Installed in October 2006 were some Tokico shocks and struts, as well as a set of Tanabe lowering springs.
Car will come with ACT 2100 clutch, Magnaflow muffler, Pilot Strut bar, AutoMeter Phantom Boot Gauge, Manual Boost control, NITTO 450 extreame performance Tires, size: 225/55R16's.
Turbo Timer is NOT included.
The car has a brand new black top on it I got from www.topsonline.com it is the top of the line one that they offer for the car, I had it installed locally. New weather stripping for the top all the way around two years ago, done at the dealer.
I have been using OEM oil filters, and have always run Castrol GTX 10w30.
New front hub assemblys, front rotors and brakes insalled in January 2006.
Rear rotors, brakes, emergency shoes and hardware installed in March 2006.
ACCEL 8mm wires installed in July 2006
New drive belts were installed January 2007
Car will come with a Yellow Top Optima battery if I can find it, otherwise I will just put whatever I can find in it.
Cat and 2nd O2 sensor are gone, the CEL is on, but the only code that shows is the one for the 2nd O2 sensor.
I will leave all the wiring for the amp, but the amp and subs will not be included.
The car has a few dents and dings, got a small crease above the wheel on the rear of the drivers side, and the rear bumper wasnt prepped well before painting and it is starting to peel at the very top, can be fixed by a bodyshop. The car still looks great and I get alot of compliments on it. The matching hood for the car is off of it as it had tow holes in it known as the Grey Forrest Hood Mod(search on dsmtuners will show some pics), I took this hood off for the winter, and it has the hood off my parts car rattle canned black, I will replace it with the original hood when purchased. Also the Drivers seat need replaced or re-upholstered.
I was going to convert this car to AWD so if you want I have all the parts to do so except the E-brake cable, and you might be able to get away with using the FWD ones, I dont know for sure. IF you want the AWD parts with the Spyder, add $1500.
