Its done ..... Fujimi Murcielago kit combined with the scale productions trans kit. A great looking kit when completed. Fit was good but tricky in some areas. Paint is a custom orange mixed to match the decals. Mods were done to the suspension to get the ultra low stance. Interior was detailed as well as what there is of an engine! 8)

Overall finish, paint, cf, brakes down to the little details like the tire markings just go beyond my capture of modeling. So stunning and you'll get my votes as well.

Thanks a lot all of you… it felt good to get a model done. Its been hard these days since I we have a new addition to the family. But I think these different subject builds such as this one keep the creative juices flowing…. I just noticed something… I forgot the windshield wiper!!!

Thanks again

I didn't want to say anything.....

Just kidding, there is too much excellence in this build for a little thing like a wiper to distract me. I didn't give it a thought TBH

Outstanding build. Congratulations

Bill

Hi Bill,

what is so tricky in your eyes with this transkit?

Viccario
01-30-2007, 05:40 PM
Absolutely fantastic! The side windows look as though they may have been a tad tricky to fix without getting glue everywhere especially seeing as there doesn't appear to be any frame and they are fixed externally! I will have to look at your WIP thread now!

Do you mean me?

I was asking, what in Bill´s eyes is the tricky part of the assembly to pay attention when I build this model.

Side windows for sure need some attention.

You can look at my WIP soon.

Hi,

just for those, who still intend to buy this trans-kit:

just before the Nürnberg Toy Fair 2007 starts at the weekend, there are rumors, that the ScaleProduction Murcielago R-GT 2004 is sold out now.

But there is hope: They intend to make the version of 2006/2007 right after this years LeMans 24-h-race.

It looks incredible. The orange paintwork, the wheels. You really have changed my mind about this car.It looks fabulous.Congratulations on a fantastic model. It's taken a while but the best things usually do.:worshippy

No, I noticed that you asked what was tricky about the transkit and I thought that the side windows looked very difficult and was impressed that they looked so neat.

Will have a look at you WIP though!

:screwy: It was my impression the "COMPLETED MODEL SECTION" was for that reason to show completed models and readers reactions to that model... not for post such as availability of the trans kits, The tricky part of the trans kit, etc... that I would assume would be brought up in the Q&A main section or the WIP section of someone building that subject... I am no moderator, but that makes sense to me...
