Here's a peek at my version of the above pictured future release from C-West. I'm not going to claim that this is completely accurate coz all i've had to work on are those two pics which in themselves are out of proportion.
What you see here is just a dry fit so please excuse big gaps between body parts etc as it just bonded with tape. This will be one of the first Scale Auto Style releases and parts are being molded and cast in the next couple of days. The transkit includes - front and rear bumpers and side skirts. No wing as in the pics above coz to do it properlly it will require etched wing supports that differ from those in my planned set. However i may do it if it sells well, the below pics just show a mock-up wing.
LMK what y'all think!? ;)

Chris,
I have enough af a chore trying to do some bodykit pieces on the cars themselves, but to make separate pieces as masters for resin? Now that's a chore! Amazing work for your business. I have the time, but not enough resources ( no job ) to attempt stuff like that. Trying to finish the several customer kits right now. Hope to see some more real soon, as I'd like to try out a few of your pieces when available. Impressive!

Oh yeah, i forgot the bonnet!;) As for the air guide thingy, i had planned to include a template so it can be cut from plastic sheet.
Price??? Not confirmed yet but around £8.50

looking nice im sure to buy it when it comes out. How long does it take u to make a copy for just one transkit? do u just pour the resin in a mold and let it dry then pop it out and its done?

That is sweet! Could I buy the transkit, even though I'm in the U.S. Also, about how much is 8.50 in U.S. dollars.

Its not a lengthy process, once the mold is made - over a couple of days - casts can be made quickly as resin sets in a few minutes.

I really commend you for hitting this segment of modeling right in the heart. The tuner arena has been largely ignored by the aftermarket, except for wheel kits from Hoppin Hydros and Pegasus. I think your renderings are great and your passion, dilligence and patience is evident in your work. I will definitely get my gluey fingers on some of your transkits!:) :D :flash:

WOW, love the kit. I'll have to get one maybe. You said that making the wing look right, you'd have to make etched parts. Just use your wing but move the supports further to the outside. Just a suggestion. Can't wait for your other kits. Keep porin' that resin.

Very nicley done, that's probably the nicest car i've seen(when it's finished..)just one request, can someone,ANYONE please write a FAQ on how to make bumpers like that???I''m a newbie and i dont know what resin is and i have no ideas how to make a mold and what to fill the mold with,I DON"T KNOW ANYTHING,can someone please write a faq so newbies like myself can enjoy the pleasure of having our models look as good as the pros cars(or close to it)
Knowing how to make bodykits would me one of the happiest modelers around,PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE:( :( :( :( Someone write a FAQ about bumpers!!!

dont you think its unfair that he should write a turotial on how to do something hes selling? I am sure he did'nt just get a tutorial and started building. thats why we buy from him, because we can't make our own. if we could make our own aftermarket wheels we would'nt buy them would we?
anyways, chris, amazing work! from what I saw from the hoods I received from you your work is very chrisp. evrything is smooth and sqaured up right, they dont look like a blob of sanded putty like most body kits people do. my other S2000 is still waiting, and now I will have to get a z, I am runnning out of time to build models!

The hood and Hardtop are seperate pieces and not part of the Marga transkit. Etched wings are being done at the moment by etching company, saw pics of the fret yesterday and they look good but asked them to rework it coz they missed out some parts:rolleyes:

I've not touched the F+F supra for weeks coz it was troubling me and i wasn't in the right frame of mind! You will just have to wait a while longer for that. Its not the only transkit to be missing from the starting line up; Ultimate Celica, Kaminari Celica and Alfa GTV Cup will be too. The decal sets are also not complete coz i just havn't had the time!

It was intended to have wheel sets as part of my range and i had arrange with a guy in the states to make some masters for me. He had all the neccessary equipment and claimed he could produce them from acrylic at a good price. All went well for some weeks until i heard no more from him, none of my countless emails were replied - not even when all i asked is that he tell me he didn't want to be part of it!
So to answer your question Lau, there would have been the wheels for it if i hadn't been let down. As for decals, i am working on designing some sets of sponser logo's and graphics as and when time permits.
