CMFI Fuel Return Lines Recalled

I have a 95 Astro with the CMFI 4.3 Vortec. I have 60 psi when I turn the key to the on position (no start) but as soon as the 2-4 secs are finished, the pressure drops to 0. There is also a exhaust leak in the upper intake manifold area because I can smell gass in the exhaust and I am getting around 2-4 miles to the gallon. With the car running at idle, the pressure is around 58-60, at acceleration it drops the 53-55 and back to 58-60 when I take my foot off the pedal. I know my problem is under then manifold but Chevy has a recall for the return lines for the engine and I want to know if the recall is for the return line in the manifold or the ones outside the manifold. I have been looking like crazy for this information but the recall notice doesnt reveal the location of the return lines. I would hope that the lines that are recalled are located inside the manifold because that could be my problem. I know that is could also be the regulator of some part of the spider injector assembly.

That is exactly what you will find upon removal of the upper intake. Either the regulator or the "nut kit" is leaking. It's doubtful either one would be covered on a '95, but you've got nothing to lose by trying.

When my '94 acted like that it was the plastic line inside the upper plenum- it squirted me in the face when i pressurized it with the upper plenum off- and was flooding the whole intake- replace the lines inside- they are sold separately of that $300 spider assembly!!
I never heard of a line recall.........
