I have a '89 civic whit a d16a6 engine. Is it easy to install an d16a9 (1988 crx)? What is the difference in the wirring?

From what I've heard it's pretty easy to swap in a D16A9 (or Z5).
It bolts right in and since your car has the D16A6 you can keep your tranny and ECU (although it's better to use the ECU from the CRX it came out of).
As far as I know there's hardly (if any) extra wiring.
Ask this question in the 88-91 Civic/CRX forum, lots of people have DOHC swaps there.

The motor i have bought has all the old wiring from the crx and it look like it all fits accept for one conection where i have two wirers less than my old d16a6 engine also is there a differends in the air suply(air intake)
I have the ECU off the crx in my car.
