1999 Corolla headlight problems

I purchased my corolla last year used and it came missing the headlight pigtails. I replaced it with aftermarket ones from sylvania and both bulbs died a couple weeks back just a few days apart from one another. Is there anything special about the corolla's headlights that I have to account for? Do I need a specific type of replacement? I tried getting OEM pigtails and the dealer doesn't sell them separately.
I don't know the model # for the pigtails but the bulb is a sylvania hb1/9004

Did you clean the bulbs prior to installation? Any contaminents on the glass can cause hot spots that will lead to premature failure.

are the globes moving any if they bounce when you hit a bump yu gonna blow many bulbs are the seals at the back of the globes tight if not tight take them back and get your $$$ back, also do not touch the bulbs with your bare hands the moisture from your skin will make the bulbs blow.have you tried a junkyard for the pigtails? hope this helps
