04 Malibu 2.2L

I was trying to start the engine and sometimes it will kick over after I hit the gas quite a few times & it will start but this doesn't do the trick any more. Is this a fuel injection problem? Any ideas...sure would help out! Thanks much! Stacy D!!

There is an issue with the ecotec engines (2.2L) with starting. Its an occasional problem and hopefully this will help you out.

If you try to start the car and it just keeps cranking and cranking and cranking with no luck, and seems to do this once in a blue moon, you will need your gm dealer to re-flash the PCM. Not a big deal, typically takes an hour to do.

after you get the car started crash it into a telephone pole and get a new car
