changing altenator

Hey can anyone give me some advice on how to remove an altenator on an 1995 2.3 sunfire. It looks easy enough however I can't seem to figure out how to release the tenison wheel on the belt.

a 15mm wrench will do it IIRC...and it's not that easy. you'll see after you have to get under the car to get at some of the bolts LOL

It's not really that bad. It's just cramped in there and hard to get at everything in that area.

What I do when removing/installing an alternator is just remove the bolts that hold it down, then tilt the alternator until you can pop the belt off...do the opposite to install the new one...
