I was looking through my 100 pages of records the guy that owned my car before me kept and I came across a slip of special order parts installed. The first one is Part# MR111611 "Yoke, P" The second is Part# MB154554 "Spider Assembly" Are these replacement parts for a recall? What do these parts go to? I did some searching but, I only got even more confused. Sorry if this is a stupid question... just trying to educate myself a bit.

I do believe it is a recall... I can't remember all the details of it though... Its something with the transfer case locking up I think. Yeah it was definetly something to do with that. lol

Oooo I remember, it was the rear yolk would wear out and leak all the transfer case fluid out and then the transfer case would lock up while your going down the road and make you wreck... Yeah, that was definetly it. lol

If your transfer case is leaking, bring back to the dealer. and they should replace it for free of charge for life ( depend what dealer you brought too ), I got my replace the second time in 1 month, first time they replace, after I take 700 miles trip, I went home and find out that its leak like crazy, lucky it dint lock up, the dealer fire the guy that install me the transfer case ( cause he forgot replace the yoke with the new transfer case, he use the old yoke), so the dealer offer me a brand new transfer with new yoke and install by professional, they told me bring back monday, and sunday i got a wreck :disappoin .

Okay cool, thats what I thought. I checked and the guy installed a competely new t-case along with gvr4 tranny internals when they did the tranny rebuild. Can't imagine the feeling of your car locking up doing 60+mph in traffic...

I don't believe so. I think the recall only covered the 2g's. You should be able to check it out online though and see if there are any recalls for your car.
