Just bought a 03 Maxima

I haven't had much of a chance to drive this thing but I am just astonished by what I have seen so far. First off, we got a really good deal on this one. We got the GLE model and the dealer price was 24,988. The interior is nothing short of luxury(atleast for the price we paid compared to what the accord or camery come with). I drive a 98 4-cyl accord and this thing just blows the doors off that car. The slightest touch of the pedal and this car launches like a rocket. I don't want to open up the throttle full just yet but I did take the car to 110 and had to stop but this thing does not want to stop once it starts accelerating. Anyway, I just though i'd put my 2 cents in.

I agree with Paonessa, the 3.5 mated to a 6sp makes for some wicked fun. You got a damn good deal, i'll say that...i paid 27k for my 6 sp SE, wgat options do you have?

Unfortunately it is an automatic because the car is sort of for the whole family and two people int he family don't like a manual tranny. The auto is OK at best but the car is still fast. It has all the basic stuff that is included in the GLE and that is just about everything except a sunroof and traction control. I think it's got a set of 17" infinity aluminum wheels(with the nissan logo) and 215(maybe 225) series tires. It's got leather, wood trim, all the electronic stuff, bose audio system, keyless entry, xenon headlight, fog lights, side aribags, ABS, power seats and a whole bunch more stuff. Thi si the fastest car I have ever driven so i'm very happy with it even with the automatic tranny.
