I am in the process of replacing my airbags, the passanger side is pretty simple to remove, but I cannot seem to get the connector off of the airbag. Is their a certain way to get the connector off? Also if anyone has replaced the airbag in the steering wheel how do I remove that?

Sqeeze and unplug its that easy.
The drivers air bag you need to remove the screws in back of th esteering wheel. The horn connector I believe you twist contrclockwise.
Just remember two make sure the battery is disconnected and the air bag fuse is pulled before you install the new one.
And you will need a ABS capable scann tool to clear the ABS codes after the work is done.
Good Luck

Benblanko4,
Have you been able to get the old bags out and new ones in? If not I will write up what I am doing in the same situation currently. It is with a 2001 Grand Am, but I think they work the same.

When doing all of this, please disconnet the batt. or the air bag will go off.
