91 Storm - Engine Dies Everytime I Stop

ok, i have a 91 geo storm, anyways i can drive nonstop no problem as long as i dont stop, if i stop the car, it dies, sometimes it does, sometimes it dont, it seems to do it more when i downshift, vs if i throw it in neutral and just rely on brakes to slow me down, anyways, some advice would be greatly appreciated cuz this thing is aggravting the hell out of me hehe. THANKS A MIL!

Is it DOHC or SOHC? I have a DOHC and had a similer prob. But mine ran very rough and lacked power. Turnes out my fuel injectors were clogged.
