No Spark/No Fuel Tried Everything

Hey if someone can figure this one out it'll be cool...
no spark and no fuel....
checked PIN 54 on ECU -- yes there is power
bought fuel/ign relay -- #3 relay
used another ecu -- a friend had one laying around.. only thing is it came out of an auctioned car...so we never heard the car run. however, i doubt this to be the ecu itself..
what do you guys think??? so confused.........

mouse ate a power line possibly....hehe!!! hmmm maybe corrodded power supply lines.... fuel pump and sparks are all dead.... :shakehead

What year? Check threads on alarm systems. Maybe cut off because alarm needs to be reset. Check fuses, the aluminum corrodes and you lose good contact. Many a jetta has been towed for this reason.

You may try hot wiring it. With the key in the on position run a wire from the + terminal to the solenoid where your ignition connects. You'll bypass most ignition issues. If it works, you'll have eliminated a lot of possibilities.
