Greetings,

I purchased a vehicle specific mount (VSM) for my XM satellite radio, see this link for a photo, http://store.xmfanstore.com/vsm.html

It requires that I remove the dash trim bezel in order to secure the VSM behind the dash trim.

I have the instrucitons from the manufacture but I'm a little uneasy about removing the bezel. They say to use caution as some of the clips can come loose and/or fall behind the dash. Any tips on how to remove this bezel without losing clips and/or damaging the trim/bezel.

Many thanks.

Checkout the link below. It should cover 2000 and up even though it says up to '99. There are several retaining clips that hold the dash bezel and you have to pull out but be careful not to break anything.

Excellent, thank you.

I guess the trick is to take it slow and just ease the bezel off?

You're welcome.

Carefully, but firmly. There are several clips holding it in. Start with the portion that covers the radio and climate control units. Also, lower the steering column all the way before you start. Once the panel is removed, disconnect the fog lamp switch using a screwdriver and set aside the panel. Thats it and good luck.
