Amazing.
Excellent work in the engine.
I’m already imagining it with the Martini decals.
Keep the great work and keep us informed of the progress of this lovely model.

Hey 953, how do you made the engine?
By airbrush or by brush?
What kind and made of colours did you use?
How do you make the overheat effect of the muffler?

Thanks everybody. I will try to answer some of your questions. The belts are some very fine woven tape made in Germany I was luckky to find years ago. I have red and blue tape. The buckles are Photo-etched parts. I used the decal main buckle center from the kit. I usually cut out the Sabelt decals from the kit but these had too much of a bend. I scanned the Sabelt decals from Hasegawa's Focus 2000 WRC., then printed out my own on decal paper(thank God for computers) The engine
block was airbrushed with TS17 gloss aluminum and dull-coated. The transaxle was painted with Testors Metalizer Aliminum and dull coated. This is the way I usually do all my exhaust. If it had allot of gluing and work I prime it and then paint it gloss black. I then air brush it chrome(been using Krylon or Duplicolor)Then a light almost transparent coat of Testor's Jet Exhaust. Then Tamiya clear Yellow and Blue tinting hear and there. I like the Jet exhaust thin because it let's theshine of the chrome come through. This really needs to be airbrushed. The valve cover is airbrushed Tamiya X31 titanium gold. Spark plug wire is 30ga wire Wrap wire from Radio Shack.
