I'm Suprised that no New Jersey highways made the list.

That Bolivan Road looks like fun...

"If you are nuts enough to consider it, please be advised that you will be only adding to the road hazards, as it's hard to spot a cyclist on the road's hairpin curves, and your shrieks (as you fall down the abyss) will disturb the peace and quiet of the villagers nearby."

At work a few days ago, going on 17 right before paterson plank road this dude got ejected from his car, what a nightmare. Screw jersey.

Screw jersey.

couldn't have said it better.
Garden State isn't so bad though, but the Turnpike, you need balls to drive there, or, no skill at all it seems.

Last couple of times I drove the NJ turnpike I was doing 80mph in the far right lane near the Trenton/Shore Points exits and the other 2 lanes of traffic were besting speeds well over 100mph and there was a lot of traffic too.

I altmost get killed in jersey daily, I drive a glass delivery truck and it is speed limited to around 70mph and thats with a good wind behind me and a half empty truck. Now imagine all of those bumps and potholes with a truckload full of exposed glass, and pyschopaths trying to run me off the road in their kias at 90mph. I don't think they sell cars in jersey with working turn signals either.

They forgot to mention the frozen lake highways truckers drive on during the winter months.

The first one doesn't look as bad as some of the others...atleast you probably won't DIE on it.

shouldn't Pike's Peak be up there?
edit: or is that just for races

Pikes Peak is an open public road.

unfortunately, in a few years it's planned to have the entire road tarmac'd because it's currently deemed unsafe.

Last night I was going north on I-95 from VA to NYC & the last 45 minutes to exit 16 I was doing 90-100mph just to keep up with the pack, & I still had other cars coming up from behind flashing me to move to the right! :screwy:

If you take 287 into NYC its a nightmare theres hardly any traffic on it early in the morning and late at night so people will do 2-3X the speed limit right on your bumper.

the road up pikes peak isn't that dangerous. The one up mt. evans is much worse even though it's paved.

+1 to the Dangerous NJ driving thing.

Its freakin nuts!!! Ive been drivign for around 7 months now and ive already almost been in 6 accidents. Not my fault though, people just love to pull out in front of me. Ive Literally had to make a full swerve intot he left lane at the last seond to avoid people and almost lost control.....

I say if you survive to get a NJ license you should be qualified to drive anywhere  and perhaps given a medal....

But yeah the turnpike and parkway are crazy. You could be doing 100mph and still be getting passed like its nothing :screwy:

The other dangerous thing, but more stupid about NY and NJ drivers is that if there's any type of accident, small or big, everyone slows down to look. SOOO ANNOYING.

Also, CAR Magazine of UK took a RR Sport on the Bolivian Road of Death to test it out. And they liked it.

The best I could do is take a picture of the article and post it for you. I already tried searching for it.

I'm at school and it's apparently at home so I'll get it to you by next week

I had fun on Jeep trails yesterday up in the mountains... probably less dangerous than the NJ turnpike... LOL

Had local pickups on my ass and a chick in a blazer went by me in the middle of the mountain road. It's virtually impossible to get away from it all now adays...
