Alarm?

I have a 1999 Cougar v6 I had if for two years and tonight the flashers started flashing and the horn blowing. I do not have keyless entry in less my car did not come with keyless remote controls. Could I still have an alarm? how do I arm it and disarm it.

It sounds to me like you have an alarm and keyless entry. Maybe try picking up a remote from ebay or something and program it and see if it works.
