I Have A Problem With My Key Fob

HELLO I HAVE A 1999 BEETLE AND LAST SUNDAY I LOCKED WITH THE KEY FOB AND WHEN I GET OUT OF MY HOUSE AFTER 2 HOURS THE REMOTE DID NOT WORK ANY MORE SO I BOUGHT NEW BATTERIES FOR THE FOB BUT STILL DONT WORK CAN ANYBODY HELP ME? COULD THAT BE A FUSE OR SOMETHING THANKS I APRECIATE YOUR TIME :uhoh:

You need a new remote. If the light flashes and nothing happens then the remote is bad. There about 70.00 at the dealer and need to be programmed to the car.
