Problem with my car :(

Hey guys, The other day i went to leave for work got in my car and it was dead.... I managed to jump start it and it was fine... then a few days later i went to start it and it was dead again... I figured it is the starter motor, the thing that got me was my car just ran out of warranty about a month or so ago.... Has anyone come across this problem, if so was it very expensive to repair??

I cant drive it untill i get it fixed, I am just thankful I have a second car to get around in.

I would investigate the battery situation before jumping to the starter.The battery might be failing or the connections might just need cleaning,eliminate the easier(cheaper) stuff first.Starter problems are less likely than battery and charging problems.Good Luck!
