ANYONE WITH ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO FIX A HEATED PASSENGER SEAT THAT WILL NOT HEAT, THE SWITCH ILLUMINATES THE CONNECTORS UNDER THE SEAT PAD ARE ALL CONNECTED, BUT NO HEAT??
THE POWER TAILGATE FAILS TO LIFT UNTIL IVE PUSHED THE KEYLESS REMOTE AT LEAST A DOZEN TIMES, IVE TRIED WD40 IN THE LOCK MOTOR MECH CHANGED THE BATTERIES IN THE REMOTE BUT TO NO AVAIL THE SAME THING STILL OCCURS EVERY DAY PROOVING TO BE VERY ANNOYING WHEN THE RAINS FALLING.

Pretty sure the oil light on a diesel is just like that on a gas engine. It indicates low oil pressure. Until you start the engine, the light should be on because there is no oil pressure. Once you start, the oil pressure should build within a few seconds and the light should turn off. The answer? It's normal.
2 ways to access codes on USA Voyagers. Download the codes using a DRB II scanner by connecting it to the test connector under the left side of the dash, or there's the "key trick". Turn the ignition key from off to on, leaving it on. Now count the flashes of the Service Engine Light (SEL) on the dash. a code 21 would be flash, flash, pause, flash. All codes are 2 digits. Codes 12 and 55 are normal. Only transmission and engine related issues will generate a code. The scanner will give more specific codes. This may or may not work on your van. If it doesn't work there may be something here that will help: http://www.allpar.com/fix/codes.html
Lived in Mundford, Norfolk for several years. Didn't want to leave.

Hi There Thanks For The Response, Mundford Is Quite Close To Us Nice Area, But You Must Have Better Weather In The States.
Do You Have Any Ideas With Regards To My Dodgy Power Door The O/s Will Unlock But Will Not Power Open And The Boot Wont Always Power Lift Either, I Read Somewhere About The Power Boot Wont Always Lift When The Weathers Cold Something Due To The Cyclinders Lacking Pressure, Could This Be The Fault?? And If So How Can I Remedy It, My Boot Lift A Couple Of Inches Or So But Is Then Stopped By A Safety Catch Or So It Seems.
With Regards To The Oil Light All The Instrument Panel Lights Before The Key Is Turned To Start The Car, Then All The Symbols Dissapear Except The Oil Light Which Stays Illuminated Then The Car Makes A Chime Sound I.e Alert Noise Just Once And The Light Will Then Go Out, Is This Then Normal Or Does The Sensor Need Replacing??
Finally I Have A Loud Whistling Sound Coming From Under The Front Left Hand Corner Of The Bonnet Sound Alike A Hoover, But Coukd This Just Be A Fan Of Some Type?? If You Put Your Ear To The N/s Front Wheel Arch I Can Hear The Sound, Around The Same Time I Ticking Sound Can Be Heard From Inside The Vehicle????
Very Odd....
Many Thanks For Your Time, Hope The Weathers Better Out There Than Here, Its Freezing Today

You are lucky I lived in England for a while because your average yank would be scratching his head about what a "boot and bonnet" are.
Haven't had any experience with power sliding doors or the power boot (rear hatch) door. You may be correct in that cold weather cold be effecting it. You could check for corrosion on the motor connectors and measure voltage at the motors to make sure they are getting a full 12 vdc. Could be the motors are getting weak or the mechanism is gummed up with grease and dirt.
Your oil light should be off until you get pressure. Not sure what the chime is. I would imagine you have a dealership that could verify. This appears to be a potentially serious problem, if it is a problem, so get it looked into pronto.
Your noise from under the bonnet (hood) could be any number of things. Not clear which side you mean. Driver's or passenger's side? Or should I say when sitting in the van, the right side or the left?
Right now it's 65 deg F and sunny here in southern California. Supposed to get to a frigid 50 over the weekend. Ok I'll shut up.
If you can't get your answers I would suggest sending 1thunder a private message. He is one of several on this forum who've had wide experience with these vans plus he's in Canada so may be more aware of any UK differences. Cheers!

Hi Thanks Again For Your Help, The Noise Under The Bonnet, If You Stand Infront Of The Car With Its Headlights Facing You The Noise Would Be As You Look At The Vehicle The Front Right Hand Side, If You Put Your Ear The The N/s Front Wheel Arch You Can Hear It There, From Inside The Car It Sounds Like A Hoover Is On And Sometimes This Noise Is Accompanied With A Ticking Noise Also, Once The Vehicles Stopped After Around 3 Mins It Goes Which Makes Me Think It Could Be A Fan, However Its Very Noisy And Can Be Heard Over The Cars Engines Whilst Moving So Im Hoping Its Not Something More Serious?? Any Ideas??...
The Trouble With My Sliding Doors Is A Mystery As They Have Started To Work Intermitently, When They Feel Like It, I Was Informed Thats Theres A Switch Under The Door Which Ive Found And Once Moved The Doors Works A Couple Of Times But Will Fail Again Later So I Think That Needs Replacing, So Anyone With A Similar Problem Try That, However The Door With The Problem Has More Of A Problem Power Closing It Gets Pulled In And Then Out A Couple Of Times Before Mananging To Be Fully Closed So If Anyone Has Any Ideas On How To Remedy This It Would Be Very Helpfull...
My Oil Light Im Informed Could Be An Oil Pressure Switch Thats Faulty.
My Boots A Complete Mystery Again Ive Been Told It Could Be A Switch, But Where??? Ive Searched But Cant Find One...
My Passenger Heated Seat Doesnt Heat Still And I Have No Ideas Help.....
Just To Top It Off I Need A New Clutch Wont The Dealer Be Pleased When I Tell Him That On Monday, Thank Goodness I Have 3 Mths Warranty...
