Twin Supercharged Hemi Corvette Progress Pics

Well here it is! Im trying to mix the AMT Double Whammy 53 Studebaker kit with the Revell 97 Corvette and here is a few progress pics!

I hate corvettes and my wife bought me this kit so I thought I would do something to make me like it a little more!
Wheels and tyres will be from the Revell 512TR but I dunno what to do about the colour or inside yet!

Sorry for being dumb, but what's a Double Whammy?

The engine is a 392 hemi and the double whammy part comes from the twin superchargers on a pyramid intake!

Do it black! BLACK I TELL YOU! Or purple, just like my prostreet :D, that engine looks nasty! it would give anything a good run for its money.....Get some rear drag slicks and 4 inchers on the front, it'll look better......

Heres an update!
The body is sitting in a bath of Easy Off but the colour will be gloss black! To build this so far Ive taken parts from 5 different kits :bloated:
The engine has plug wires and fuel lines but Im not finished detailing it yet. It has a scratch built rear end and the front suspension is from a Craftsman truck, and I have a scratch built roll cage to go in too :)
I hope you guys like it all my other kits have been box stock and this is my first custom job

That pretty cool. I think the interior color scheme should match the exterior. that always looks preety nice.

Don't you just hate it when someone buys you something that you really aren't interested in...makes you feel so bad for not liking it. At least you're able to have some fun with it though.
