'00 Lug Nut Torque

Can anyone tell me what or where to find the touque amount on the lug nuts? My wifes car vibrates when brakeing and I read in another post that this can cause warping of the rotors? I am not sure if this is true but the brakes were replaced (rotors and pads) about 3 months ago and all tires were balenced.

Any info would be a big help.

100 lb/ft torque. Sounds like the rotors are warped though.

That was fast. Would it matter if I had the rotors turned or once there warped there warped?

IF there's enough material left where they can turn out the warpage, you can reuse them, but there normally isn't. Even brand new rotors with very few miles are too thin to turn back smooth once their warped.

Presuming that the hub and wheel flange are flat and in good condition and that the wheel bolts or hat mounting hardware is in good condition, installed correctly and tightened uniformly and in the correct order to the recommended torque specification, in more than 40 years of pro/DIY experience I have never seen a warped brake disc.
I have seen lots of cracked discs, and an untold number of discs with pad material unevenly deposited on the friction surfaces - sometimes visible and more often not.
In fact every case of "warped brake disc" that I have investigated, whether on a racing car or a street car, has turned out to be friction pad material transferred unevenly to the surface of the disc. This uneven deposition results in thickness variation (TV) or run-out due to hot spotting that occurred at elevated temperatures.

100 ft , have them checked to specs and see if they can be resurfaced if not just buy some better ones my mom goes thou rotors every yr on her grand prix
