I seem to get crappy electric ones every Xmas, I just like using regular razors. I signed up for them to send me Fuzion razor. Whats the worst that could happen, they send me anthrax?

^ hahaha, yeah, these match.com ads are making me laugh a little
sold out, but i already own one, and goddamn are the blades expensive to replace!! I don't like electric shavers, never gets as close as these razors do.

I had one mailed to me out of the blue, for free, a few months ago. I tried it, nuttin' special. They give them away because they make their money selling blades, not razors. Kinda like giving away printers with computers, you'll end up paying boku bucks for the ink while they laugh all the way to the bank. I'll keep my good old Atra and keep buying generic blades.
I only have to change blades once a week, unless my wife uses it to shave her legs, how are you guys doing?

i got a free mach 3 when i completed my drivers ed, that was unexpected to say the least. anyways, i'm happy with the mach 3, been using it for a few years now, i don't cut myself, it doesn't irritate me, and it does one hell of a job. i got an electric razor from my parents, and it's really good if your stubble isn't too long. i tend to get lazy and let my hair grow a bit because i'm in university so i don't need to look presentable in public until i graduate.
i tried another electric, a friend of mine's, one of those razors with three circular heads, it was crap, didn't cut anything and it tended to pull the hairs more than anything. i'm not saying all of those are like that but this one sucked ass, and it was new and expensive.
i've got the braun syncropro 7505, works pretty well and i don't think it was uber expensive, could be wrong though, i got it as a christmas present. i usually alternate between electric and manual, and if i want my skin really smooth for a night, i shave with the grain first, then against the grain. it reduces irritation (for me, if i shave against first i get mad razor burn but if i go with the grain, then relube and go against, i get a super clean cut and no irritation, smooth as a babies bottom).

Dude....why the hell are you letting your wife use your razor to shave her legs. That's just wrong.
On another note, I can go about 1.5-2 months on a set of blades, sometimes longer and I have the Quattro.

same here, usually about 2 months, i change blades every 2 weeks or so. i've got so many cases lying around that i forget about, i just found about 4 cases, some full, some not. it's funny because i get them randomly (my mom picks some up every once in a while) or i empty one and ask for another, anyways, i won't need to buy blades for another 4-6 months.

i'm not going to sign up because: 1)i'm satisfied with the razor i currently own, and 2) i read their privacy policy and two things bothered me about them: they will use your information to send you info about great deals and new products (spam), and they'll send your info to their agents, partners, and such.

Also, I actually know of many girls who prefer to use men's razors instead of womens. According to a former lady friend of mine, men's razors are less irritating since they are made to shave the delicate skin of the face, instead of the rougher skin of the legs.
That's all fine and great, but she can buy her own to shave her shit...

i wish i could grow a beard too. my facial hair on my face is really spotty (as in it only grows in a few spots) and it's blond, whereas my facial hair from my sideburns down along my chin and my neck is dark and decently thick. so i could grow one hell of a neck beard... but those are dirty, so i could grow a chinstrap.... but those also tend to be dirty on most people. not to mention the fact that i can't stand looking like a bum for the time it takes me to grow a beard. if i actually care about what i look like, i shave about 3 times a week, if i'm home for a long time, i'm not going out, or i just don't feel like taking care of my appearence, i shave once a week, maybe less, i just end up looking like a dooshbag.
