Climate Control backlights

My mother has an 03 Monte Carlo LS and I was wondering if anyone knew if the lights behind the temperature settings are LED's or regular bulbs. She has the dual zone setting and neither of them light up Blue or Red at night. Thanks for any help it is appreciated.

I unfortunatly don't have an answer for you, but if you find out what it takes to fix them, could you let me know, mine aren't working in my 02 either.
