Well if anyone has seen my stress release post you will have seen me B***h about a hit and run driver so now since I only had liability I have some body work to do.
I figure I can do all the body work and just pay to get the car painted.
List of items needed to be replaced.
*Drivers side finder
*grill
*headlight assembly
*hood
*drivers side door
*radiator
*front windshield
So far I believe thats it. It still starts up and runs smoothly so I know if I can fix it I can sell it for some good money.
My mom will not let me keep it due to the fact that she says after a hit the car is never the same. If feels fine to me but her roof her rules.
So my question is. How do I remove these items. I called a junk yard and I can get all the parts for a little under $200 and I can get the windshield for $60(i'll leave that to a pro)
Any help is appreciated. O AND I CANT GET THE HOOD OPEN. ANY IDEAS ON THAT?
Pics of the damage are in my stress release post but I can repost them here if anyone wants..
thanks again.
(currently looking at an Oldsmobile Delta so I wont be leaving the group) :)

If I were you I'd spend the $15-20 and get a cheap haynes manual for the repairs :grinyes:
your hood release cable is probly jamed or broken from the acd.
Reach up under the front bumper and see if you can pull the cable with something to release the hood.
If the hood is jamed because the fenders holding it use what you have , tire tool, crow bar.
Good luck !

Yea I looked for one and couldn't find my car. Found a close match for the RWD but I have the FWD. Doubt they make much of a difference so I'll get it.
I checked the hood already and even asked a body shop to do it. They cant without breaking it. But since its already broken i'm just gonna pry it open. O and your everywhere xeroinfinity i guess thats y you're a mod.
Thanks for the help.

photo bucket was acting screwy and wouldn't let me get to my pictures but I finally got to them. Not the best quality pictures but you can see how well my first actual body project came out.

The door still has a little ripple effect on it but the paint shop said they could get that out. The frame that holds onto the radiator was bent in about a foot. My girlfriends dad pulled that out for me with his truck.
Now I'm saving money to get everything painted and smoothed out, and I'm trying to find a place that will install seat warmers for me for a little added comfort.
