I bought a pair of pioneer tsa878 3.5" speakers for my front dash. I bought them because they were designed for gm vehicles...lucky me, they don't hook up to the harness.
So I went in search for a speaker harness...at circuit city, all they had were ones for the rear speakers (even though they tried to tell me it'll work for the fronts, thank god for a return policy). They were Metra 72-4500, and some other one that was a joke.
Done some googling, but I cannot find any front dash speaker harnesses. Am I stuck with good old trusty butt connectors and a lighter? Or does anyone know of an actual harness that works for this car?

can you take a pic of the connector on the car that you are trying to mate to ?

Yeah, np. It's a blurry pic, but it should be more than enough to figure out what kind of harness is needed.

I don't think you need a "harness" ... just get some male spade connectors and push them in (after wiring them)

yep my remote turn on wire was like that. i found it easier to just cut it and put on a crimp on connector

Hit up walmart, bought a pack of quick disconnects, used a cutter/crimper and a trusty BIC, and everything's set now.
With the passive crossovers wired in, my system sounds much better now :)
Used to push the volume up to 40 just to be loud (it goes up to 50), now I can't get it past 30 without hurting my ears.
Just need new 6x9's and everything will be ripe :)
Thanks.
