Alright i have a 93 2 door civic and i was wonderin would it be possible to put an f20a2 (s2000) engine into it. Yes i know it faces differently but i was gonna just make it into a rear wheel drive car. How hard would this be and how would i go about getting mounts for this.

Dude- for the amount of money that you are going to spend having someone convert your car to RWD, buying the F20C1 S2K motor (not F20A2), trans, ECU, and having them cutom mount it into your civic, you could have a far faster FWD car for same money or even less. Any of these have the potential to be faster than the F20C1 for cheaper:
1.Internally built, intercooled B18A/B w/ a turbo kit (i.e. DRAG)
2.Internally built LS/VTEC (B18A/B block w/ B16A/B17A/B18C head)
3.Internally built CRVTEC (B20B/Z block w/ B16A/B17A/B18C head)
4.Internally built H22A (handeling will go to shit, tho)
I would recommend any of these 4 options over the S2K motor swap. they have all been done many times before, and have been proven with proper tuning to produce more than 240 crank hp. just my $0.02 tho :)

Drop an S2000 motor in for $10,000 and have 240 hp - or spend $2500, get an H22 swap + $3500 turbo kit + $2500 build up = $8500 and a WHOLLLLLLLLLLLE lotta more power and still $1500 to pay off your speeding tickets your gonna get :p

One problem! You would have to convert your car to Rear Wheel Drive

"One" problem? No more like at least 2 dozen MAJOR problems... going to cost an arm and a leg, and the end result wont be anything major. Theres already a place with an NSX motor in a CRX bro - only because they are doing all the work themselves because they are a shop!

That would be totally [darn] badass, even though not very smart or economic...
I dont recommend it, but if you do en up doing that swap, I wanna see some pics and times after its complete
Rock on, experimental dude!

there is a guy I was talking to AIM that did a S2k swap into a 96 hatch. It took him about 3months.
If you want to do it, do it. Don't worry about what you could get for the same money, worry about how different it will be from everyone eles car.

Why not just buy the S2000?
