2001 grand prix GT keyless entry

I have been looking for sometime now for instructions. I have removed the MALL PGM and followed the instructions and havent gotten it to work. My car has eveything in it so im pretty sure it has keyless entry I bought a remote on ebay #9364556-4575 Canada 34321021021779 fcc ID l200007t

Is ACC the second one right before starting? I don't have a manual. Please help!

ACC is all the way back towards you. It is position A.

Look on your SPID label located on the back of the trunk lid to see if your GT came with RKE and the proper BCM module from the factory. Look for AU0 and/or UA6 GM RPO codes.

I can't get my key to turn back. I only got one key with my car. I can't open the trun with it or get access to the trunk through the back seat. Do i have the wrong key or somthing? Is there more then 1 key for the car. My car has a sun roof onstart learther everything it has to have keyless entry.

Thats weird. Something is not right. Until you can get the key to the ACC position you will not be able to program the RKE. Your model has the Passkey-III VATS system for anti-theft. The key head has a transponder within it that works with the ignition key cylinder. On Passkey-III the same key for ignition is supposed to unlock the doors and the trunk. I would say you have a problem with either the key or the key/lock cylinder. Get that issue resolved and then you should be able to complete RKE programming. Good luck.

I got it! I had to push the key in pretty hard to get it back to acc. I had tryed to turn it back before and had no succes. So I didn't think it would work. I feel a little dumb now. I'm happy it works! thanks for the help!
