It does feel good I'll throw my senario at you.

Live in NY for 27 years this summer the women and I were bored so we just decided lets get the hell outta here. So we looked at the map found a few states did some research and decided to pick NC. So we packed up drove down there with no where to stay or anything to do and stayed a few days. Decided it was for us and picked a spot to move and we move in on May 17th. We gave ourself buffer room to find jobs and also so she can finish the last year of law school here in NY.
SO I kinda kno the excitment you have its great to just pick up and make a new life. I cant wait to start over in a few months. Scary but awesome

well, my boss said it really bothers him because he just spent alot of money evicting the upstairs tennants. i told him it would of had to happen anyway. this is just another reason for me to leave my employer.... he said if i knew i was doing this, why get those people evicted? i said i didnt know that i wanted to until my vacation, which is 100 percent true. ive been to fla many times, but i never had friends or anything to do there. now the boat, girls, and my step brother changed things....

i still like it, i just want to go someone where the cars i can tune won't be crap things with loud bodykits driven by 19-year-olds that can't spell their own name.

Then you should avoid the US because you will find that everywhere... even in the deep South where I live... except most of the 19 year olds are actually short 30something year old Mexicans.

even so, there's more of a tuning scene there, i don't want to be working on shitty 1.4-litre renault engines.

there are more opportunities in the US' auto field, and i may at some point go into Diesel, so i want to move.

That is completely understandable. The 1.4L renaults are the equivalent to the mass amounts of 1.5-6L honda civics that surround us here. The owners of those cars are the ones I was referring to and they are ubiquitous in the states...

yeah, we get the same here, people with single-cam hondas and 7" exhausts.

we do however, have europe's 3 fastest GT-Rs. (8s in the quarter)

but i want to work in turbo/supercharging and on bigger engines and also in performance diesel. and i want to move because of Nicole.

There is BIG money in diesel mechanics here in the states...

yeah, that's one of the major incentives for me. but i'm going to try and do Auto Tech and Performance engineering in Orlando then in a couple years go and study Diesel tech.

Congrats and good luck to you.

I'm finally moving out of my folks house in two weeks. Been here since I graduated college, so around a year and a half. Can't complain, saved money and didn't have any expenses other than the credit card bills.
