97 rear hatch

Hey everyone, havent been around in ahwile, but figured someone would be able to help me out with this. The rear hatch closes fine, but for some reason when closed, it still "appears" that there is a door ajar, the light in on constantly, how would I go about fixing whatever is stuck, or is there a fuse I could pull to allow to use my keyless entry again?

Sounds like the switch is sticking closed. Clean and lubricate the hatch switch or replace.
