1994 4 runner won't start

Help, My 94 4 runner won't start, turn key, no accesory lights on dash, no starter, nothing works that should work when the key is turned?

Did you check the battery? Main fuses? Fusible links? Ignition switch?

Hi, Yes batt is new and it looks like all fuses and links are ok....horn works headlights work...but nothing related power wise to the ignition switch works. I suppose the switch could be bad, I just doin't know why it would all of a sudden stop working. Thanks.

"The fuses look good"? Use a test light to see if power is going through them. One of the fusible links blowing would cause a major power failure.

The switch is probably over 10 years old. Use a test light or meter to determine if it is the problem or not.

Wiring diagrams are available in Haynes' manuals and at autozone.com.
Make an enlarged copy of the wiring diagram and highlight the affected circuits, looking for a common point of failure.
