suicide hood

:confused: does anyone know a way i can suicide my hood on my 88 crx...
someone told me 88 buick La Sabre hinges but i can't find them....please help me someone.

Why not take off the stock hinges and flip them and try to use them like that.

Hood that flips up from the front like a Corvettes.

Having the hood flip up towards the front of the car rather than towards the rear of the car, kinda like this:

You could weld a latch back at the fire-wall, or just install some hood-pins on the back 2 corners where the OEM hinges are.

Does any1 have a pic of a Honda with this mod on it? i would love to see what it looks like, i've seen BMW's and Corvette's and stuff, but i wanna see a HONDA with this mod......

I bleive it should be pretty easy, especially with a cf hood...just remove the hinges and relocate them at the front (you may need to weld a mount for the hinges) other than that I dont see a problem

It shouldent be that much of a problem.
