'90 V6 power loss when damp

Have '90 pickup (4wd, 3.0, 127k) that loses power under load when conditions are damp. Almost feels like its missing a cylinder or 2. It hadn't thrown a CEL until the other day and it went off pretty quickly. I checked for stored codes today and got #51 fuel injector circuit. I ran it all day today and it ran fine with no power loss but it is cold and dry here today. My question is will an injector stick only under damp conditions or is something else going on that made the injector throw a code? My first thought was an ignition coil or something else that is ignition related but now I'm not so sure. Any thoughts appreciated.

Weak coil, crack in dist. cap, poor wires are just some of the area you need to investigate. I would first get the vehicle to operating temp. and then taking a spray bottle mist starting at the dist cap first if the vehicle starts to miss this will be the first place to start your repairs.
Overall possibly an overall tuneup with Cap, Wires, Rotor, Plugs, fuel filter will correct your problem.
Good Luck

Plugs, wires, cap, rotor and fuel filter are less than 6 months old. I was thinking coil and I will try the spray method. Thanks.
