I have a 2000 S-10 4 wd and it only has 12000 miles, I had replaced the right front sway bar bushing about a 1 1/2 months ago and i still get a front end popping noise, getting more prominent i hear it when i get in the vehicle ( 1 pop), shake the truck bed ( 1 pop) or drive down the road i can hear a creaky noise( it is not the hood hindge pin washer, replaced it) can it be a sway bar adjustment, neglected ball joint grease fitting, torsion bar ?

Shocks or dry front end parts.

Ever greased the 11 grease fitting in your front end?

Take another driver with you and find a speed bump in an empty parking lot somewhere. Stand beside the truck while the other driver goes forward and backward across the bump. If it is something in the control arms, you should be able to find it.

GM makes some little bitty tiny washers to take the slack out of the hood hinges. I have read about many that have looked and replaced parts trying to fix a noise only to find it is the hood hinge and a $3 part. Standing in front facing the motor, raise the hood about 6 inches and pull it left and right. If your hood hinges are bad you will hear it. Post back and I will find the part no. and the website that explains the problem.
