some of you might remember me talking about a girl i really liked but didn't have the balls to tell her how i felt. well i hadn't seen her for a while (she was away for christmas, i was busy with school and exams before that, she goes to a boarding school) it's been about 2 months. anyways she calls me today, tells me she broke up with her bf because he cheated on her twice. anyways it kind of made me happy and pissed off, happy because now i've got a chance, and pissed because that asshole did this to her.
it sort of came at an awkward moment, i was trying to get over her and trying to look for other girls because i figured their relationship was going to last longer, she seemed to think it would, but this really came as a shock, didn't really know what to think at first.
anyways, i'm going out with her next weekend, maybe hanging out this weekend. i'll see how things go, i'll take my time because i don't want to look like the asshole who swoops in for the rebound. but i'll let her know how i feel and see how it goes.
on the phone she also told me i'm the only guy she trusts, so before i get thrust further into the friend zone i'll let her know my feelings and stuff like that.

she says you're the only guy she trusts, so go very slowly. don't abuse the trust, and don't let her, or yourself, do anything stupid.
don't tell her your feeling too soon. when she's upset and all and you tell her you like, that's really going to look like you're swooping in for the rebound.
just comfort her, look after her. buy her lunch and help her relax. go for a walk together so she can talk and get it all out of her system. generally, help her relieve the stress.
