need help with kicker L5s

i just got the kicker daul solobaric 12'' L5 subs in the vented enclosure and a kicker class d mono amp @ circuitcity. i was wondering if the subs could handle the amp with the bass and volume turned to the max?

it depends if the rms is for both speakers combined or per speaker.
lol you paid 700 dollers for a amp that has the specs has mine for cost only 233

Honestly, you didn't buy those from circuitcity? There are MUCH cheaper places...

Power output: 500 watts RMS at 4 ohms or 1000 watts of peak power at 2 ohms. :screwy:
Usually "max power" is double of rms so if this is the case then the rms doesnt change going from 4 ohm to 2 ohm. NM i read the specs circuit city is just full of idiots.
But if you keep the amp at 4ohm which will be 500rms then the subs should be able to handle it. ANd that is for both subs cause they are 300rms each.

all of this GREATLY depends on how the system is tuned, especially the gains
