...radar detectors...

im afraid of getting a ticket. i know what it does to insurrance, and its not good. but this is what i was thinking. to my understanding the escort 8500 x50, and ther beltronics x65 are the best you can get. i was wondering if any of you had any experense with radar detectors and knew which ones to stay away from.

i know the solution is to drive slow, but what fun is that?

If it saves you from just one ticket, a $30 radar detector was worth it. But don't think for one second a $400 one makes you invincible. Keep your eyes open and pay attention or no radar detector will keep you from getting pulled over everytime.

Escorts are good radar/laser detectors. I sell those exact ones where I work at Best But in the car audio section. One thing I can not stress enough is do NOT get just a radar detector as many cops now use laser. The radar detectors are outdated and will get you into more trouble.

i have the escort 8500. that thing is awesome. it saved my ass many many times. ...and there's not much you can do when you get lasered, it just lets you know you're fucked.
