How do I use this stuff? :bloated: Do I just apply on a cloth and rub it on therefore it removes orange peel or do i have to sand it with 800 or 1200, 2000 Sandpaper before I start applying the compound on. Once Ive finished that i apply the wax and it should be glossy and shiny?

Thanks.

If the orange peel is pretty bad wet send with the higher grit and then use the rubbing compound with a soft cloth then wax.

Does this stuff remove barely visible scratches on the windows?

Yes it should but you can also hide them with a coat of Future Floor Finish(I think for where you are from it is called Johnson's Klear)applied with a wide soft brush or wiped on or some have even dipped the window in it. It can be removed with ammonia without any harm if you don't like it.

Rubbing orange peel out with compound will take atleast an eternity. On my current project, I was able to start wetsanding with a grit as low as 1500, however I have 5 coats of clear on the body. Otherwise I would never start with anything lower than 2000. I have been able to remove orange peel with 4000 grit sandpaper, but it takes a long time and you have to check often.
So, on the project I am working on, I start with 1500 grit, then move to 2000 grit, then 4000, and finally use the compound. Check often while sanding, and stop immediately after all the shiny "valleys" are gone. Be careful around the edges and panel lines! Also, make sure you do this under running water so you don`t have 1500 grit particles left on the body while you are trying to sand to a 4000 grit finish. With this method, I was able to get a glass like finish. :) :) :) :) :)
