67 firebird rearend

Hi..I am currently looking at a 1967 326 firebird for sale. I think it is an early build car but it seems very original apart from a TH400. The question is the rearend does not appear to have the brackets for the tramp rods (traction rods) attached to the housing and it has a multi leaf spring setup. I have noticed that early camaros had a single spring leaf setup...Is this the correct rearend or a modification?? Any help would be appreciated

Well I know for the Camaro all 1967 models used monoleaf design rear springs (however, with different spring rates and load ratings).

For 1968, only models with the 12-bolt rear end were selected for multi-leaf springs. This included all SS models, the Z-28, and the L30/M20 327ci-275HP/4-speed. All other 1968 models used monoleaf springs.

In 1969 all 12-bolt axles plus all 350ci engines received multi-leaf springs
