Glasspack muffler?

My 91 Regal Custom 3.8 needs a new muffler and i don't want to put a flowmaster on it because of the $$$. I saw a nice looking glasspack at a Auto Parts store, so my question is, how does a glasspack sound on a 3.8 regal?
