Buying Used Buick Rendezvous

I am considering buying a used 2002 Buick Rend. AWD. It has the V6 with 87,000 miles on it. What kind of problems should I expect? Is there any known reoccuring problems that accompany these vehicles. Thank you everybody for any insight you can provide.

I bought a used 02 last apring with around the same # of miles on it. Right now I have problems with the rear diff. It needs to be rebuilt. The problem is GM has not made the parts necessary to rebuild the diff available, there solution is to buy a new one at around $6k. I have found a used one for 2,500, but I am still looking for something cheaper.

If you live in a colder area, be prepared to dish out a couple hundred to get the thermostate changed. The enginiers in their wisdom put it rut under the phlenum. a 3hr job according to the Mitchells guide. Other than that I love it, and would not hessitate to buy another.
