i need help to answer a question

yea so im new to the forum page but i have just recently bought a 92 camaro rs with a 5 speed. Now to me i thought that these cars came with the option of a 305 or a 350 but i have people telling me that they only came with a 305 i have another 92 but its a z28 and it has a 350 so could someone answer my ? did the 92 rs come with the 305 or the 350

the RS V8 was just the 305. And if you put any thing bigger or put more power behind that stick, it will shread that tranny to peaces. The T5's can't handel alot of power. Now the z28's came with the HO 305 (TPI) or the 350 (TPI). The RS's only came with the 305 TBI for the v8's.

unless it's a B4C model, which I doubt, then It will have a 350 TPI

I believe 97cavalier is right, the T5 could not be factory behind a 350. GM felt that the 350 generated too much torque for the T5.
