New rubber for the Porsche. I think they will help me get out of the hole better. Might try a rally or two.

Reminds me of a clown car...

Definitely need the tires on there. Even with the lift there still isn't that much ground clearance. I'd love a Land Rover Discovery but I think the Domestic Dirt Queen does just fine... besides the fact the damn hatch won't open anymore... :banghead:

Nice Disco...

I would of thought they'd of gotten more power out of the 4L V8 in one of those Discovery's. Obviously not designed for speed, more for crawling around the back woods.

Still, would of expected a bit more than 182hp and 232ft-lbs of torque. I still like them nonetheless.

Yea it defiantly doesn’t get anywhere in a hurry:icon16: By V8 standards 4L is pretty small. Still though I think it moves the truck around just fine. Plus my motors got to have over 200k on it by now and still running strong. Don’t know exactly cause I disconnected the Speedo at 150k cause of electronic complications  So I cant complain. When I’m on the trails I just lock the diff and through it in low range and its got plenty of power to get around and over the trails. When I need to go fast I just break out the P-Car

Is that all? My Jeep GC I6 4.0L is rated at 190hp and 235ft-lbs of torque. I was following a Discovery just like RACER D12's the other day and I had trouble keeping up. But I had my wife and a 200lb passenger and wasn't really getting on it...

Side note: It seems like everybody is running WOT everywhere in everything. :screwy:

Anyway, I think the Discovery is the tits of recreational vechicles...

Oh no doubt they're capable off-roaders. I'm not complaining, they wouldn't turned into the Icon they are today if they weren't. It's just boggling that they put out so little, but do so well with it. Job done to Land Rover.
