Hi--I'm new to this website. I just bought a 1985 BMW M635 last month, and I am parting the AP racing brakes that are on the car. The car is set up for racing, but I'm restoring the car to its original self.
The front calipers are 6 piston (part# CP5555-81454) and the rears are 2 piston (part# P5211-23sf0). The front rotors measure around 13.5-14" and the rears measure about 12.6". The wheels that I have on my car are 18" Breyton Magic's. I'm not sure if they would fit anything smaller.
I must admit, I am a complete novice when it come to racing, let alone racing brakes. I did some investigative work and contacted B.R.I.T.S Inc., a racing store located in Sonoma, Ca. where I talked to employee named Garrett. He stated that the front calipers cost roughly $800-$1000 new and the rears about $500. The rotors, he stated, run about $450. When you consider the mounting brackets etc. . . the kit could run well over $6000.
I talked to my mechanic (MrMCar, Farmingdale, NJ., Don Fields) and he stated that the brakes were very clean. So, if anyone is interested in the brakes, give me an email at [email protected] or call me at 732-996-9401.
Best--Mark
P.S. I hope this posts, since I've written it and posted it three times, without luck. Whew!!! :)

You might want to try posting that message in the BMW forum.

I'll leave this thread here, rather than moving it... best of luck.
