I just recently bought a 1983 Porsche 944 and I'm doing all the interior my self but I'm stuck on the seats. They are REALLY bad. I was thinking of doing Louis Vuitton interior (wife wants me too). Any one have some suggestions as to how to do it or know someone how already knows how to do them. Please let me know. Show season is only a few months away.

I know this thread is old by 1 month but no one posted so I will...

Okay, I used to work at an uphostery shop. Used to work because, well, the 2 owners closed up shop about 5-6 monhts ago and the shop went out of bussiness...after 50 years...so sad. Anyways...

So you are re-doing the interior yourself? Have you ever stitched seats before? Ever had any experince? I know how to stitch seats, among other interior things...so I have suggestions and already know how to do it both.

What exactly have you done already to the interior? What do you know how to do already, what are you looking for suggestion/help on and what are you looking to have someone else do?

As for Louis Vuitton...man, I hate the look of that, IDK what ppl see in it. The name? Who cares, ugly. Nice clean suede or leather looks 100 times better IMO, but it's your car. Also, make sure the fabric holds up well. I've heard some Louis Vuitton fabric isn't as durable as typical uphostery fabrics because it's not made for that. I've never put it in my own cars though, so IDK. Just a thought.

What kind of car shows do you ever? Tuner (HIN, NOPI, BOTI, etc), Rod and Custom, something else?
