Stabilitrac/ABS problem

Today it is -22C here and this morning when I started my car, the Stabilitrac/ABS/Parking Brake lights came on. I do not have Stabilitrac anymore (fun times on slippery roads)...
Anyone knows what the potential causes might be?

What year is your LS?

When you first start the car, do any of the above lights flash prior to remaining on solid? If so, which light and what is the flash pattern? For example, if you see a flash, flash, flash, pause, flash, flash, long pause, this would indicate a code 32.

Beyond that, you will likely need to find a shop with a high-end scan tool that can read the ABS codes. The ABS computer is probably recognizing an issue with either a wheel speed sensor or an issue with the ABS pump assembly. The ABS is used for the Stabilitrac.

AdvanceTrac in the 2003 and newer models also incorporates the electronic throttle control in the stability control, but I believe 2003 was the first year for the electronic throttle.

I have a 2000 V8.
The lights did not flash, they were constant.
However, after work when I took my car again, the problem had solved itself.. the temperature was -15C then... strange

You may have has some ice on the hall effect ring for the ABS which the ABS computer may have picked up as an unexpected signal from the speed sensor and triggered the light.

ABS is a rather critical system and under certain error conditions, the computer decides it's best to disable the ABS rather than risk causing an unexpected braking condition. In such a situation, the traction control/AdvanceTrac may also be disabled.
