Welcome to the forum!
What seems to "cut out," the steering assist or the engine? If the engine, are you accelerating when this happens? Whas does the tachometer do when it "cuts out?" Is the battery firmly held in place?

i am accelerating and when i unplug the maf sensor it runs beautiful so i put a new maf sensor and a new ign module and it still cuts out , maybe a rag a gallon of gas and a match will work. lol. very frustrating.
GEORGE...AND YES THE BATTERY IS HELD FIRMLY IN PLACE AND THE TACH STAYS THE SAME.

Hmmm, long shot here, but maybe you want to make sure the throttle linkage and throttle plate is tight. In the off-chance that the throttle plate is swinging closed when pulling those 0.8G turns.

could it be an 02 sensor reading wrong sending bad info to the computer? thanx.

Anything consistent about the hard left turns that cause it to stumble, such as sweeping long turns, or short duration turns? How about when going straight, is it when you accelerate aggressively, of only if you lightly press on the accelerator?

I had the same problem with my 98 taurus sedan. I worked with our Ford dealership for months and they finally corrected the situation with replacement of the GEM module and reconfigured it.
