heater core??

ok...1991 626 and the engine will warm up but no heat will come out. is this the heater core? doest leak anti-freeze as far as i know, and the thermostat is good. thanks

Your problem could be at the control's in the dash.
Also there is a control valve that your dash control's operate that is attached to the rubber hose that brings the hot coolant from your engine to the heater core, this could be stuck in the closed position or otherwise inoperative because of bad linkage.
I can't tell you where anything is on the 626 because it's been way too cold to work on mine, but I can say I have seen control's and valve's that work off vacume as well as elec.
Right now my 626 and the manuel for it are buried in snow up past the roof otherwise I might be able to offer more advice,
